Tahira Parveen's Story


Tahira Parveen is a woman entrepreneur, struggling to bring prosperity to her family. She is 28 years old and lives in a small house with four family members in Hafizabad, Pakistan . She is a skilled woman and has adopted cloth stitching as a source of livelihood. She has around six years of experience in cloth designing and stitching.

She works at her home and provides tailoring services to the women of her community. Her stitching quality has earned her a good fame within a few years of services. She is very eager and wants to promote her business with the passage of time.

At the moment she is lacking finances to purchase raw material including cloth, colourful thread, needles, buttons, and lace for cloth stitching. She was seeking a loan from to finance the raw materials she needs for her business.

Now thanks to your generous donations Tahira has received the finances she needs to grow her business and support her family.

Fauto Dionicio's Story

Fausto is a 51 year old contractor from Matagalpa, Nicaragua. He works every day to provide a better quality of life for his family.

Fausto was seeking a loan in order to build a toilet in his home. He plans to buy stone, ceramic tiles, sand, iron, and other materials. This will help his wife and children live in a healthier environment. In the future, he wants to rebuild his house so that his family can live in better conditions.

Today, many Nicaraguan homes do not have access to safe water or sanitation facilities. With few hygienic alternatives available to them, families often face water pollution resulting in respiratory, gastrointestinal or skin diseases as well as river pollution due to illegal sewage piping.

Thanks to your generous donations, you are playing an important role in helping Fausto and his family protect themselves from diseases. While at the same time, improving and strengthening their emotional and physical living conditions.

Felipe Jr.'s Story


Felipe Jr. is a fisherman from Concepcion, Iloilo, Philippines. He has with two children, one thirteen years old and the other, two. For the past fifteen years Felipe has made fishing his livelihood, and uses what he earns to support his family.

In spite of the obstacles that Felipe Jr. has encountered in his life, he resolutely continues. He has applied for a  loan to buy a replacement for his boat's engine. Through this loan he will be able to keep his fishing boat in good condition and so improve his catch. This will ensure that his family continues to be supported.

Jayashri's Story


Jayashri is a resident of the district of Kutch in India. She is 33 years old, married and is living with her husband and their four children, two sons and two daughters. All her children are enrolled in school. The household sees an income of 15,000 INR a month, with which they are just able to manage their monthly expenses. They have 2,000 INR in savings, which is definitely not enough to improve the life of this six-member family.

Jayashri is already supporting the family through her tailoring business, but after analyzing their situation, she has taken the brave decision to expand her business. She was seeking a loan to procure materials to make salwar and patiala suits and pillow covers in addition to the products she already makes.

Jayashri hopes that this venture will help her increase her profits by 2,000 INR a month, which will enable her to give her children the life they deserve.
