Blanca is a divorcee and currently lives with her two children.
Her sole source of income is growing corn. The harvest provides her enough food to feed her family, and an income to cover other family necessities. She started this business about 10 years ago with her own funds. She works every day from 6 in the morning until 12 in the afternoon.
She wanted to get the finances to have everything ready for the planting season. She plans to buy improved seed and agricultural inputs to weed and prepare the land for planting corn. Part of the money is to pay for labourers to help carry out the farm tasks.
